Our surgeons, Drs. Tony Schumann and Andrew Pfaehler perform orthopedic, internal/soft tissue, endoscopic surgery, oral surgery and root canal procedures, canine reproductive services such as artificial, transcervical, and surgical inseminations, and ultrasonography. Dr. Schumann also provides spinal surgeries and echocardiograms.

Dr. Schumann, a Ross graduate, has been performing surgical procedures at our hospital since 1994, and Dr. Pfaehler is an Auburn graduate who has been practicing in Northern Kentucky since 2013. Both have taken a certified training course to perform tibial tuberosity advancement (TTA) surgery for ACL repair and many hours of continuing education for fracture repairs, splenectomies, cholecystectomies, and cardiac and abdominal ultrasonography.

Estimates for treatment plans are generally not given over the phone, as we would prefer our surgeons to evaluate your pet for the best care plan.
